From the momentary safety of a cavernous underground headquarters, they begin to plan what will be the most important operation in the history of the Brecht Group.

Kenehan knows one thing for certain: the evil that is spreading throughout the world can be traced to a small handful of men with vast resources who pose a grave threat to the west and capitalism everywhere. Men who have been working for years to patiently assemble a plot to undermine and cripple America and her allies, and who know that eliminating private military and intelligence contractors will deal a stunning blow to much of America’s 21st-century war-fighting infrastructure. 

Canvassing the world, picking up threads and putting down enemies—one at a time—may be the only way that Roady Kenehan and Christie Jensen can bring the nightmare to an end, and put right what has gone so terribly wrong.
